Our large molecule manufacturing operations cover biologics bulk drug (mammalian), aseptic small volume parenterals and fill/finish for prefilled syringe drug product formats for a wide array of injectable products.

Our Puerto Rico pre-filled syringe manufacturing has comprehensive commercial operations including semi-automated and 100% automated visual inspection. AbbVie’s robust planning process can help clients plan contingencies and anticipate potential areas of risk to improve outcomes. Moreover, AbbVie has the systems and processes in place to help plan commercial launch and changes in demand with precision.

This North American manufacturing site has extensive QC Analytical capabilities with a record of successful validations and commercial ready operations. Just like other Biologics sites in the AbbVie network, the Puerto Rico facility is ready to offer AbbVie partners the same care and operational excellence we give our own programs to ensure patients receive the medications they need.
