Established in 1987, the Pringy site has grown into a significant operation with approximately 500 employees working across a 25,000 m² facility that includes 5,000 m² of clean room space.

The site has decades of experience with hydrogels and is setup to manufacture highly viscous products and their unique manufacturing requirements. The site has three separate filling suites consisting of 2 high-speed commercial lines and 1 semi-automated clinical/launch line. Each high-speed commercial line utilizes nested syringes and consists of:

Compounding

• 5-25 L batch size
• Experience with highly viscous gels

Filling

• 5-head fillers
• Fill range 0.4 mL – 2.25 mL
• Glass or plastic syringes

Post-Fill Operations

• Heat/steam terminal sterilization
• Automated visual inspection
• Full QC release testing (on-site)

Assembly & Packaging

• Fully automated assembly including finger grips and rods

• Final packaging including carton and corrugate
